Hello future historians!

We’re always seeking smart and talented future graduate students to join our program at the University of Colorado Denver. We have top-notch faculty in environmental history and public history (along with many other fields), and we work closely with regional museums, historic sites, and more that open up doors to a wide variety of careers in the profession.

Did you know that a recent ten-year study from the University of Colorado found that history majors go on to earn higher salaries of any major? It’s true! And that’s because we learn to research well, think and write critically, and articulate ourselves well in professional settings.

The best part of my career has been advising students who now work in museums, national and regional parks, governmental agencies, business start-ups, and academic settings across the world.
